Q: How much of the "Network and Computer Systems Administrator - Intermediate" is networking and how much is Systems administration?
A: Each position supports a specific directory. Your supervisor will meet with you to discuss the best placement for you on the contract.

Q: Can you send me the benefits package or an outline of it?
A: We are working on the Benefits Package for this contract. There will be a town hall briefing set up for everyone to speak with our benefits coordinator as we get closer to the start date. You will receive an emailed invitation to this event.

Q: Will I be using my own equipment, or will I be sent or pick up company approved equipment?
A: The government will provide all equipment for this contract. Your supervisor will coordinate shipment of all required materials prior to your start date.

Q: Do we qualify for a compressed work schedule?
A: Yes. The contract allows for a compressed schedule. Each location supervisor will develop a schedule for their team. You will have the opportunity to meet with your supervisor to discuss your preferences.

Q: How much PTO do we accrue yearly?
A:

Q: What are the options for teleworking/hybrid schedules? Are you accepting reasonable accommodations for disabled employees?

Q: For those that have to move, will there be a moving reimbursement?
A: No. Relocation assistance is available.

Q: How long is the contract?
A:

Q: What does the orientation process consist of?

A: The orientation will include subjects such as benefits, company culture, company vision, professional development, etc.

Q: Once a start date is established, would there be a meeting with our immediate supervisor or will it be on day one of our start date on the project?
A: Yes. We intend to have in-person and virtual open house events to meet the company leadership and offer a live Q and A session.

Q: If we have signed letters of commitment does that mean, we have a job once the contract starts?
A: The Letter of Intent (LOC) is our commitment to offer you a job based on the government funding the position and your qualifications at the time of the full job offer. We intend to offer positions to all candidates who have signed LOC when the government funds the work.

Q: Working in the IT industry, continue education is crucial. What is company policy on Education Reimbursement or advance certification?
A: We offer no-cost training in most IT related disciplines including certifications through the SkillSets application. All employees have access to SkillSets upon starting work for a Chenega company.

Q: Can you send me the benefits package or an outline of it?
A: We are working to publish the final benefits package. I will provide a copy as soon as it is available.

Q: Will I be using my own equipment, or will I be sent or pick up company approved equipment?
A: All required equipment will be provided by the government or CARS.

Q: What is the hours or days needed on site as I was hoping for more remote so please let me know.
A: The contract is approved for a compressed schedule if needed. Hours for each position will be established by the supervisor.

Q: Are you guys still hiring ?

Q: Do all position require a clearance?
A: All positions require a favorable backround investigation by the CBP.

Q: Is tuition assistance available?
A: Yes. We have a tuition reimbursement program.

Q: Will overtime be available?
A: Yes. Supervisors must approve all overtime requests.

Q: Will there be multiple shifts available?
A: Yes. Some positions operate on a 24/7 support cycle. Others may have 1 or 2 shifts available. Your supervisor will work with you to accommodate scheduling requirements.
