Chronos is headquartered in Colorado Springs, CO, and provides mission-critical services in Advanced Analytics & AI, Software Engineering, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, and Intelligence.
 

The Real Property Program Support shall provide program support services to satisfy the overall operational objectives of the Asset Management Business Line, NAVFAC Pacific.


 

Work you’ll do

  • Conduct internal audits.
  • Download transaction reports from the internet Navy Facility Assets Data Store (iNFADS).
  • Review real property transactions to ensure compliance with established processes.
  • Identify types of anomalies.
  • Perform statistical analysis on types of anomalies.
  • Assist in the development of options to address anomalies.
  • Assist in the development of material needed to address anomalies.
  • Support training development
  • Assist in developing curriculum, lesson plan material, and speaker notes.
  • Participate in reviewing and providing comments to the Financial Improvement Audit Readiness (FIAR) online training modules.
  • Assist in developing job aids (i.e., checklists, how-to guides).
  • Conduct document reviews.
  • Provide technical reviews of real property guidance documentation (i.e., NAVFAC Publications, Data Quality Guidebooks, etc.)
  • Provide recommended solutions where gaps exist.
  • Conduct asset evaluations.
  • Coordinate site visit schedules with tenants.
  • Download and prepare data from the iNFADS for site visits.
  • Perform site visits to validate/update select data elements.
  • Obtain information from installation real property personnel.
  • Collate data packets for facilities evaluated.
  • Enter data into iNFADS.
  • Support data reconciliation efforts.
  • Coordinate with other NAVFAC entities and Defense and Federal Agencies.
  • Resolve discrepancies. x Update data in iNFADS.
  • Other duties as required.
 

 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.
  • Department of Defense Real Property experience is required.
  • U.S. Navy Real Property experience is desirable, but not required.
  • Background check required.
  • The position requires a COVID vaccination or an approved accommodation/exemption for a disability/medical condition or religious belief.
 

 

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Possess knowledge and sufficient experience to independently develop creative, technically sound solutions to problems not remedied by standard, pre-defined processes.
  • Have demonstrated the ability to consult with and provide technical advice to the Department of Navy management of construction activities such as a Deputy ROICC/OICC related to highly complex logistical issues, integration concerns, safety issues and changed conditions.
  • Sound understanding of construction concepts, principles, and practices applicable to multi-disciplined engineering projects and the design, layout, and supervision of construction operations.
  • Thorough knowledge of construction practices and methods and construction management skills.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak fluent English to report on the progress and outcome of technical assignments and to present recommendations to government personnel.
  • Advanced skills in problem-solving.
  • Good work ethic and active desire to learn.
  • Skillful time management and organizational skills to set and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a team.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment to encourage collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to meet minimum clearance requirements.
