The Program Coordinator III supports the West Virginia National Guard (WVNG) Joint Base Operations Support Services (JBOSS) in Charleston, WV, with a broad spectrum of operations in support of homeland defense/security, national security objectives, and emergency response by supporting JBOSS programs. The Program Coordinator III will provide Program Management Services for the following departments and sections: WVNG Joint Staff Office; WVNG G4 Logistics; J2 Intelligence Oversight; and J3 Joint Operations Center.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • Review, analyze, and report any discrepancies in General Fund Enterprise Business Systems (GFEBS).
  • Provide professional advice to IAW with regulatory guidance, local policy, and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
  • Manage and attend various weekly, monthly, and quarterly meetings.
  • Provide technical support for the coordination of program activities with inter-related program activities to ensure optimum efficiency and compliance with appropriate policies, procedures, and specifications
  • Provide customer assistance, by answering questions on program/event-related issues, and resolving discrepancies.
  • Receive, review, and verify that all program purchase requests are complete, correct, and have proper government approval and authorization
  • Maintain event schedules and various other reports in Excel
  • Conduct a monthly reconciliation of request logs.
  • Maintain all program event schedules and track in Excel
  • Generate and submit various program status reports.
  • Provide Program Management functions and maintain a collection of information for emergency planning.
  • Review after-action training reviews.
  • Provide daily weather briefings.
  • Maintain various inventory management systems.
  • Provide the customer with intelligence assessments, estimates, and other intelligence products in support of the decision-making process and to build situational and threat awareness.
  • Use the various systems to analyze, forecast, and recommend the movement of authorized equipment.
  • Attend Program Meetings weekly and provide logistics updates.
  • Supervisory Responsibilities: None
  • Other duties as assigned.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent and relevant work experience as a Program Coordinator
  • The quality of the combination of education and experience must be sufficient to demonstrate that the applicant possesses the knowledge, skills, and abilities required to perform work in the occupation
  • Secret clearance required and must be eligible for SCI access

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, including Word, Excel and PowerPoint
