Chenega Agile Real-Time Solutions (CARS) was created with the purpose of providing integrated enterprise IT support to Federal customers both CONUS and OCONUS. CARS employs Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) with decades of experience working in the Federal marketplace.
The primary objective of this effort is to transition the Customer from a traditional IT service model to a Managed Services model, incorporating industry-standard practices and Service Level Agreements (SLAs). The enhanced objectives include:
Transition to Managed Services: Shift to a contractor-provided Managed Services model with clearly defined SLAs to optimize service delivery.
ITSM Modernization: Implement ISO/IEC 20000-1:2018-compliant processes and utilize FedRAMP-certified tools for IT service management.
Security Optimization: Mitigate security risks through enhanced compliance with NIST standards.
Enhanced User Experience: Improve operational efficiency and customer satisfaction for all stakeholders, including bureaus, offices, and taxpayers.
Standardization: Align processes with ITIL and Agile frameworks to streamline workflows and ensure continuous service improvement.
The Customer’s mission is to ensure that Americans have access to rapid, efficient, affordable communication services without discrimination. In meeting this mission, the Customer’s Office of the Chief Information Officer (OCIO) strives to provide high-quality, effective, and efficient Information Technology (IT) requirements for the bureaus, offices, and taxpayers. Under the leadership of the OCIO, the Deputy CIOs and CISO will “Lead and modernize IT Service Management for the Customer through best practices, process optimization, and continual service improvement.” The Customer depends on the OCIO core IT infrastructure and systems to meet its mission requirements and goals.
