We are expanding our presence in the New Cumberland, PA area. Team CADS is currently seeking talent in support of the GDEC – Global Distribution Expeditionary Contract.
For over 25 years, DLA Distribution has prided itself as the leading provider of global distribution support to America's military and other federal agencies. With a focus on the execution of its core competency- the receipt, storage and issuance of materiel in support of America’s warfighter- the organization is regularly seeking ways to increase warfighter readiness. CDAS is currently seeking talented logistics, distribution, and contract management professionals:
Logistics and Distribution Support:
- Supply Technician: These individuals handle tasks related to inventory management, receipt, storage, and issuance of materials.
- Material Handler: Responsible for moving, handling, and storing materials and products.
- Forklift Operator: Operates forklifts and other material handling equipment.
- Distribution Facilities and Storage Management personnel: These individuals manage the operations of distribution centers and warehouses.
- Transportation Assistant: Provides support in managing transportation arrangements and coordinating shipments.
- Logistics Analyst: Analyzes logistics data, processes, and systems to improve efficiency.
- Logistics Manager: Oversees logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and inventory management.
- Supply Chain Manager: Manages the entire supply chain from procurement to delivery.
Contract Management and Support:
- Contract Specialist: Handles pre-award and post-award contract functions, including acquisition planning, solicitation, evaluation, negotiation, and contract administration.
- Contract Administrator: Focuses on the execution of the contract and ensuring compliance.
- Contract Manager: Oversees the entire contract management process.
- Contract Analyst: Analyzes contract terms and conditions, market research, and pricing.
- Procurement Analyst: Focuses on analyzing procurement processes and strategies.
- Contracting Officer: This is a high-level position responsible for overseeing the entire contracting process.
Other Support Roles:
- Administrative Assistant: Provides administrative support to the contract team.
- Compliance Officer: Ensures compliance with contract regulations.
- Business Analyst: Analyzes business processes and data to identify areas for improvement.
- In essence, the GDEC contract relies on a team of professionals with expertise in logistics, supply chain management, and contract administration to ensure efficient and effective support for DLA Distribution's rapid response missions.
